A new text advertising broker I have been trying out over the last few weeks allows you to advertise or sell advertising on individual pages of your sites. There different because of the ability to monetize pages individually or advertise on pages individually.

If you want to be able to keep a track of which affiliate links or ads are working on your site then you need to be able to track them. When you know which links are being clicked on then you know what links work and what your visitors are interested in.

I have been meaning to test out Marks ad hosting system so I decided to install it to give it a whirl. It took all of 5 minutes to set up as you need to provide some information about your blog (or site I guess).

I have noticed that graphical ads are making a comeback especially those 125 pixel square ads you see on a lot of internet marketing sites. This may be due in part to the move away from text ads since Googles crackdown.

One of the things you may hear a lot about is the need to be able to track and monitor your sites. Of course you have your web analytics for seeing the number of visitors to your site and what they a re looking at. But you also need to be able to track other actions on and off your sites.

I'm sure you've been exposed to some of the furore regarding Googles clamp down on paid links. I am one of those that go hit by the page rank reductions which is intended to curb the paid text link market. In the unlikely event you haven't heard the news Google are reducing the PageRank of sites that sell links that do not use the nofollow tag.

Having previously mentioned that I have started to test OpenAds ad management software I thought others who decide to use this combination might benefit from my experiences so far.

If you are planning on selling advertising on your blog or website or just want some way of managing existing advertising then you need some ad management software. I downloaded OpenAds months ago but have just gotten round to installing it. The reason I have been putting it off is because it looked a bit daunting.
